  • League Fixtures for August have been released. Town face Fetherstone Colliery (A) on the opening day followed by Howden Clough (H) and Barwick (H). A tricky opening against 4th and 5th place teams from 2002/03 in Howden and Barwick but Town will have the confidence that lacked in fixtures last year. Town then play Churwell (3rd last year), Upper Armley Old Boys and Mount St Marys, all at Home. (11.08.03)

  • Steve Parker and Stephen Harris rejoin after long spells away from Town. (13.08.03)
  • The Squad is announced for the first league game of the season it reads; Otley, Rigg, Newbould, Purcell, Kitching, Kime, Doyle, Clark, Ford, Bennett, K. Parker, Bjelic, Pennington and Thirkell. However Jon Ford has other commitments and so Ben Parker steps in to the squad. (14.08.03)
