NEWS IN BRIEF:
- A Craig Smith brace and one apiece for top scorer Nick Foster and veteran Pip Greaves saw Town to a solid 4-2 win away at fellow strugglers Sherburn. Town have now moved out of the bottom two to 9th with that win. (03.04.04)
- A win tonight in the Monday night fixture at Barwick will take Town to 6th place still with games in hand on several teams above them. A top 4 finish is still a realistic prospect with 5 games to play (05.04.04).
- Town lost 4-3 to Barwick in a close game and despite having 1st team regulars Doyle, Kime and Pennington playing. Nick Foster grabbed his 15th of the season with a well taken strike. (05.04.04)
- Town helped climb the table with a hard fought 2-1 home victory over strugglers and local rivals Robin Hood. Lee Smith and Mike Ramsden finding the target. (14.04.04)
- Town's good run of form continued with a 2-0 away victory at Boston Spartans. Town now jump to 5th in the league.
- Town were narrowly defeated but in the main outplayed as they went down 3-2 away to Sandy Lane. Mike Ramsden and Craig Smith notched the goals.
- The season ended miserably for the Reserves as they lost 6-2 to neighbours Athletic despite twice leading with a 7th goal of the season apiece for Pip Greaves and Craig Smith. (01.05.04)
